Heather Lyle, Voice Teacher for Singers and Actors

Heather Lyle is a leading voice teacher for singers and actors, operating a private studio in Los Angeles and and Zooming with students from around the globe. She has taught at USC, Arizona State University, Santa Monica College, LA Mission College, Loyola Marymount, Mount Saint Mary’s College, The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and Loreto College in India.

Lyle has a BM and MM in vocal performance and a post graduate certificate in Vocology Voice Habilitation from the National Center of Voice and Speech and a post graduate certificate in the science of the singing voice from New York University with Dr. Johann Sundberg. She is also a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® the leading voice work for actors taught at Harvard and Yale.

Lyle has sung every style of music from jazz, the blues, musical theatre, pop and opera. She has recorded for a movie sound track from inside the Great Pyramid, and has performed concerts floating down the Amazon River and in numerous other venues, including nightclubs in Paris, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Playboy Mansion.

Highlights of her career have been performing at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival on stage with Herbie Hancock, Kenny G, and Dee Dee Bridgewater and at the Playboy Jazz Festival.
